Cast Bronze Victorian Cricket Award – Quill-Pen Desk Stand c1879

Here on offer is a cast bronze Victorian cricket award, quill-pen desk stand, circa 1879.It consists on an oval shaped front section with two crossed cricket bats fixed in the centre and the oval edges are fitted with six pegs enabling it to support three quill-pens. At the top it has the image of a small crown.On the lower edge of the oval is has a clearly stamped diamond registration mark, which dates it to 25th July 1879, being the exact date, this design was registered.On the back it has an easel style support, to enable it to be sat on a Victorian desk.A really interesting piece that can still be used today and makes a great present for any cricket fan!It measures 4.2' (10.5cm) high by 2.6' (6.8cm) wide and weighs 90g.Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.Please see my TERMS OF BUSINESS regarding Deliver Charges and Insurance regarding additional insurance cover, should you require it, BEFORE the item is dispatched.The responsibility lies with the customer to check with your Customs restrictions that this item can be imported into your country.
