Stamped brass beret badge with lugs and split-pin fixing on the reverse in excellent condition.Regiment van Heutsz is a line infantry regiment of the Royal Netherlands Army. It was named after J.B. van Heutsz. He was a former Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies and was instrumental in bringing the Aceh War closer to an end. The regiment was formed on July 1, 1950 and is notable for its service with the United Nations forces fighting during the Korean War. It is still operational and more recently served tours as part of the ISAF mission in Afghanistan..
