Shown as 'Personal Assistant, Director of Agriculture and Fisheries'Post 1945, Emma Sarah Patricia Lucken was an Administrative Officer in the Colonial Service, who, following the end of the British Mandate in Palestine, accepted an appointment as an Educational Officer with the Colonial Government of Hong Kong Colony. United Kingdom passenger shipping manifests circa 1948-1958 show her making several ocean voyages to Hong Kong Kong Colony in that period. Emma continued to work in Hong Kong Colony into the 1960'sEmma 'Emmie' Sarah Patricia Lucken daughter of Edward George Lucken (a Confectioner) and Eliza Lucken was a native of, London, England, where she was born on, 11 May 1908. The 1939 National Register for England and Wales records Emma, described as employed as a Schoolteacher and living at, 265 Ladbroke Grove, Kensington, London, where she lived with her paternal aunt, Alice Gertrude Lucken (described as a 'Boarding House Keeper' retired).
