Mai 1938-These National Labor Day / May Day tinnies commemorate the public holiday devoted to the German working class, on the 1st of May every year. It is constructed out of a die struck zinc base that has been blackened. The round shaped obverse features a man and a woman dancing with an umbrella above a national eagle (with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons) and '1. Mai 1938'. The reverse is marked for Werner Redo of Saarlautern. This is a very nice tinnie with nice details.
