German WWII NSDAP Party Membership Pin
Ships from: United States
German WWII NSDAP Party Membership Pin-This party is a bright red color which is indicative of the maker Matthias Salcher & Söhne of Wagstadt. Wagstadt was part of the so-called 'Sudetenland' (Czechoslovakia) that Germany Occupied as part of the 1938 Munich Agreement. After the war it became Bílovec in the Czech Republic. This red is known as 'Carrot Red' and is seen predominantly by this maker. There are a few scuffs and a bit of crazing to the enamel, and be aware that there is a chunk of missing enamel on the O & N of the word National. This missing enamel measures approx. 3mm in size. The reverse of this badge has a functioning pin and the silver finish is nearly fully intact but darkly toned. It is RZM stamped with the makers code of 'M1/136' on the reverse. Overall, this is an interesting pin despite the flaw.
