WW1 French M15 Zouve/Armee de Africa M15 Adrian Helmet

A textbook WW1 French 'Armee d'Afrique' mustard finished M15 Adrian helmet with paint match insignia as worn by Zouves and some other elements of the Armee of Africa.The French governed countries of Morocco, Algeria provided a huge number of troops who were deployed in Europe throughout the Great War . These units were to adopt a light khaki wool uniform from 14/15 on and thus their helmets were over painted (as here) in a mustard tone paint and later factory finished in the same .The helmet has super untouched patina and all elements remain intact .
