WW2 British Commando Green Beret 1943 .

A textbook example of the famous and very hard won green Commando beret . This 1943 dated example made by the prolific maker Kangol Wear shows light service wear and is thus perfect for display . All the characteristics of manufacture are very visible including N over WD stamp correct machine and hand applied stitching , silk draw cord , eyelets and leather backing patch . The crown 'hood' is of the correct wool weave and shows good deep colour with just some light scattered moth tracking etc. All maker markings and date are still highly visable .
