WW2 German Vehicle Mounted MG Tin With Tan Paint (MG34 Mount Zwillingssockel 36) 1940

A completely untouched 1940 dated Machine Gun ammunition tin for vehicles. Roughly hand painted over the factory grey green in a tan mid to late war 'Dunkelgelb' RAL paint . This likely indicates this was the outer face of the tin while held within a vehicle mounted racking system . Eagle & swastika marked with 1940 date .Great piece to display alongside helmets and other combat pieces.
