WW1 National Reserve Class II Bethnal Green London home front badge

A very scarce original First World War period large gilt badge inlaid with blue and white enamel, '4' impressed to the right side rifle butt, the reverse with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and impressed with official issue number '38428 BETH GREEN' Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.Height approx 38mm.
