A rare original circa 1947 to 1955 period 'Rally for the French People political party badge'; small diamond shaped brass and enamel example, bearing a 'Cross of Lorraine' and the initials 'RPF'; the reverse impressed with French maker's details 'EDET PARIS'. Fair to good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fittings, some enamel loss to cross and also to blue backing.Height approx 23mm.Founded by Charles de Gaulle 14 April 1947.President: Jacques Foccart.Dissolved 13 September 1955.
