French WWI Enlisted Kepi, 92nd Regiment

Original era manufacture. Classic 1914 era enlisted Kepi, with a madder red top, and dark blue wool band. Buckram lining, with a painted leather disc in the crown with a circular cut-out for the flap which is now missing.The painted leather visor is handsewn to the body of the hat, and the leather chinstrap is secured by two brass bursting-bomb buttons. There is some scattered mothing to the body of the hat, with old repairs in evidence. Size is about a 6 3/4.
