23rd Regiment of Foot (Royal Welch (Welsh) Fusiliers) Officer's Waist Belt Clasp (WBC) pre 1881

Scarce pre-1881 officers silver and gilt, the 'Small plumes / large numbers' pattern waist belt clasp. The Prince of Wales's plumes above the number '23' to the centre of a circlet bearing the title with plain squared rococo scrolled belt loops to each end. Some dark toning to silver otherwise gilt bright and in good condition.
