This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty scarcely encountered! - pair of NCO-type- (thus silver-coloured and aluminium-based) Waffen-SS- (ie. SS-VT-) related shoulderstrap-cyphers (ie. 'Schulterstückauflagen o. Ziffern') depicting a capital (Latin-styled) 'E'-character as was specifically intended for usage by an NCO serving within the: 'Ergänzungsstellen der Waffen-SS'. The pair on offer here was (I deem) simply never used nor shoulderstrap-attached and can easily be graded as 'virtually mint-/unissued'. The pair is in all facets matching and comes mounted onto its functional (ie. never bent- and also aluminium-based) prongs. Both cyphers do show some minimal age ie. tarnish simply caused by decades of storage only. It should be noted that these (merely for the-) Waffen-SS (ie. 'SS-Verfügungstruppen') intended shoulderstrap-cyphers can easily be graded 'very scarce'. I deem that is a neat - and unusually encountered! - 'Schulterstückauflage-Satz' as was specifically intended for usage by an 'SS-Unterführer' ie.
