Description

This is a truly attractive example of the - actually fairly scarcely encountered! - typical light-blue-coloured and neatly 'BeVo'-woven so-called: RLB (or: 'Reichsluftschutzbund'): 'Amtsträger'-armband (ie. 'Armbinde') depicting the multi-coloured 'RLB'-logo (without lettering) and showing an interwoven makers'-mark (that simply reads: '34') and that came in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem minimally used and/or worn-), condition. This band signified that the bearer was an official member of the RLB and acted as a so-called: 'Amtsträger' (these bands could also be worn with the civilian-attire). The armband - which comes neatly stitched-together - measures approximately 33 x 9,5 cms. and comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just minimally used- and/or worn-), condition: it is just a tiny bit stained and is somewhat wrinkled (as can be seen on the pictures). This example originated from a larger-sized armband-collection that was compiled over the years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a neat - and actually quite unusually encountered! - TR-era, RLB-related armband that will be very hard to be upgraded!
