Japanese WWII Type 30 Training Bayonet Hooked Guard

Original period manufacture. Nice quality training bayonet in sound condition. Bright finished blade with a hooked guard, bird head pommel and pot belly contoured wooden grips. Blue finished sheet steel scabbard with a simplified frog loop.There is a small Japanese proof on the obverse grip plate, the near dent-free steel scabbard has a rough texture finish from old corrosion, but retains a nice sheen to it.
