German Prisoner Registration Card for French POW-This is for French soldier Adolphus Laclario who was a prisoner in the German POW camp Stalag IIB. Laclario was born on 9.4.1911. It says he was simply a soldier. There are 2 commands that he served listed on the reverse, with dates ranging from June 18, 1940 through February 1, 1943. His photo and finger print are included. Stalag II-B was a German World War II prisoner-of-war camp situated 2.4 kilometres (1.5 mi) west of the town of Hammerstein, Pomerania (now Czarne, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland) on the north side of the railway line. It housed Polish, French, Belgian, Serbian, Dutch, Soviet, Italian and American prisoners of war. This document measures 8 ¼' by 11 ½'. There is some wear, discoloration and corner folding. Very interesting!
