Original US WWII M1910 T-Handle Shovel Carrier--Dated 1943This authentic M1910 canvas shovel cover was designed to carry the U.S. Model 1910 entrenching tool, a T-handle shovel widely used during both World War I and World War II.The carrier shows some staining on both sides consistent with age and use. The hardware is slightly rusted, too. One side is faintly marked 'U.S.,' while the reverse bears the manufacturer's stamp: 'Miller Hermer Inc 1943.' There is another faint stamp, possibly a serial number belonging to the soldier. A solid example of an original WWII-issued field gear item.
