Original Third Reich SA Dagger RZM M7/12 By Waffenfabrik Max Weyersberg With Hanger-This is an original SA (Sturmabteilung) dagger manufactured by Waffenfabrik Max Weyersberg of Solingen, marked RZM M7/12, and complete with its original scabbard and RZM-marked hanger.Fittings & Grip:All fittings are nickel-plated, including the crossguards and tang nut, and remain in very good to excellent condition with a pleasing, lightly aged patina. The tang nut shows no signs of tampering, and the grip fits tightly and cleanly against the guards.The wooden grip features a rich, mahogany-red tone with a medium center ridge and excellent overall fit. The SA roundel is well-set, retaining most of its original brown enamel with only minor aging. The nickel-plated eagle remains well-detailed, showing light wear to the edges of the wings and wreath, but with crisp definition to the breast, talons, and swastika.Blade:The blade remains in excellent condition, retaining a strong portion of its original crossgrain finish. The 'Alles für Deutschland' motto is deeply etched and crisp, though the original darkening has mostly faded. Typical runner marks are present, along with a few very minor gray spots. The reverse of the blade is clearly marked RZM M7/12, indicating production by Waffenfabrik Max Weyersberg, Solingen.Scabbard:The scabbard is straight and retains much of its original brown painted finish. There is some light surface wear and a small chip in the paint, though this does not detract from the overall appearance. The scabbard fittings are in excellent to mint condition, with all four original screws present and undisturbed. The throat fitting matches the crossguards perfectly, showing uniform age and finish.Hanger:The hanger clip is RZM-marked 'M5/71', signifying production by Overhoff & Cie., Lüdenscheid, and shows minor surface rust on the metal hardware. The leather strap is slightly dry from age, but remains supple and strong, with the leather clearly marked RZM L2/1638/38.This is an authentic and complete SA dagger by Waffenfabrik Max Weyersberg, featuring a clean blade, well-preserved fittings, original painted scabbard, and marked hanger.
