Original German WWII Fireman's (Feuerschutz) Dress Bayonet Long Model (No Maker) With FrogThis authentic German WWII Feuerschutz Dress Bayonet is a nice example of period craftsmanship and remains in very good to excellent condition.Hilt and Cross Guard: The nickel-plated hilt and cross guard are in excellent condition. The cross guard features the classic up-and-down quillon design.Grip Plates: The black checkered grip plates are in excellent condition, secured with aluminum rivets dressed on the obverse.Scabbard: The scabbard is straight and retains its original black painted finish. Shows some minimal signs of age and use throughout.Blade: The long blade, with its traditional wide fuller construction, boasts a pristine nickel-plated finish and is in mint condition. The original leather buffer is intact, adding to the bayonet's authenticity and appeal.The black leather frog is in very good to excellent condition with wear at the frog stud hole and on the belt loop area. The back of the frog also has a good amount of black dye worn off at the belt loop area and has a black felt attached at the bottom part, but overall it is complete and in very good condition.
