Mis-matched pair of (typical) early-period and neatly 'cyphered', so-called: 'Hitlerjugend' (HJ) 'Landjahr'-shoulderstraps as was intended for and used by a member with the rank of: 'Hitlerjunge'

This is an attractive - regrettably somewhat mis-matched! - (typical) early-period and neatly 'cyphered', so-called: 'Hitlerjugend' (HJ) 'Landjahr'-shoulderstraps as was intended for - and clearly used by! - a member with the rank of: 'Hitlerjunge' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used- ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic- ie. shirt- removed-) condition. The pair that was with certainy worn as such after which it was carefully shirt- ie. tunic-removed comes stored as such for decades. The neat (and truly early-type I deem to be dated around 1934!) shoulderstrap-pair is of the 'sew-in'-type (without having tongues) and measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length each. The set is void of an 'RzM-etiket'. Both straps - which are constructed from the typical light-brown-coloured linnen as to be expected - show the neat (larger-sized- and/or Gothic-styled) so-called: 'L'-characters ie. cyphers (or: 'Ziffern') which are beautifully chain-stitched (done in so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei') and are executed in the typical light-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour signifying 'Landjahr'-usage. They have the typical 'rayon-based'-type piping as to be expected. The straps never had any tongues and were (I deem) 'directly sewn on ie. into the shirt or tunic'. The purpose of the 'HJ-Landjahr', which was introduced in 1934, was to 'deepen the ties connecting the young people of urban areas with the land and peasentry'. As stated above, were both straps clearly used and do both show regular wear and/or aging (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and fairly rarely encountered! - pair of early-pattern, youth-related 'Landjahr'-shoulderstraps that comes not that often for sale. I deem that I priced this great - albeit mismatched! - pair according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability!
