German WH MP44 Magazine Pouch

In a very nice used condition a Stunning and rare German Wehrmacht/SS MP44 Assault rifle (Sturmgewehr 44) Magazine Pouch.The complete pouch comes with maker marking on the reverse side by 'KKD', indicating production by Marke Steigt and Lederwarenwerk Curt Vogel, Cottbus.It's also nicely dated 1944.This example was taken from a german soldier that was walking in the farmer's field in Luxembourg. The german was shot and the farmer took the pouch that he was carrying and the STG44.After years in the barn the farmer found the pouch but the STG44 rifle was away.The pouch has still the original rope attached to the pouch were the soldier carried the (then full) pouch with.A very stunning item!
