Soldbuch /award documents grouping of 'Gefreiten' Hans Nagel who served within Nachschub (delivery/supply) Btl.543.This unit served within the '6.Armee'.1) Soldbuch of Nagel which contains some interesting entries.Nagel has been awarded the 'Ostmedaille' and the KvK II m.Schw..2) Great 'Ostmedaille' award document which has been signed by the batallion commander.3) KvK II m.Schw. award document which bears the stamped signature of 'Der Befehlshaber der 6.Armee' Friedrich Paulus (later GFM who surrendered in Stalingrad)4) Congratulations letter to Nagels KvK award graduation.Whether Nagel has been in Stalingrad is unclear but the letter states that Nagel was recovering of something in January 1943!! (he might have been somewhere else temporarily).That Nagel ended -up in Russian captivity is clear as the Soldbuch shows Russian POW stamps and a handwritten ABC by Nagel.Interesting!!
