WW2 Modified Polish Airforce Metal Cap Badge.

Not sure in which country this badge was produced but at some point, either 1945 or later the crown on top of the birds head was purposely snapped off, its quite clear under a good loop. Both rear fixing prongs are present. Considering the smaller size against and officers badge i would suggest this cap badge would have been worn on a side cap.
