Robertsons Golly bagpiper white waistcoat advertising badge Marples & Beasley

A rare original hard to find circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Bagpiper Golly pin badge', wearing a white waistcoat, bright blue coat, without 'Golden Shred' slogan on golden enamel Scottish bagpipe bag, the reverse impressed in relief with circular maker's details 'Marples & Beasley B'Ham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, dark underglaze mark to top of right leg.Height approx 34mm.
