US WWI British Mfg. Doughboy Helmet Shell, Signals Unit Insignia

Original era manufacture. Standard British made steel helmet with a rough combat finished exterior. No liner, but on the front of the helmet is a very nicely executed Signal Battalion or Company, unit emblem, in the form of a goat wearing a blue blanket with a Signal Corps emblem painted on.
