Rare original German 'Totenkopfring'

This is a nice original German World War 2 period 'Totenkopfring'. This is a privately purchased skull ring (Totenkopfring) with crossed bones to each side of the skull. The ring is a very scarce original that was popular amongst soldiers of both the Army and Waffen-SS and were available for purchase in the army barracks and also referred to as 'Kantine Ring'. The ring is constructed from silvered brass and is unfortunately missing most of its silver finish, see close-up photos. Rare original ring in good used and worn condition!
