Description

This is an attractive - I deem truly used and fairly scarcely encountered 'variant'- (ie. first-) pattern! - WH (Heeres) 'Gebirgsjäger'- (ie. mountain-troopers-) related arm-badge being a desirable example as was executed in the 'BeVo'-weave pattern on a typical field-grey- (NOT darker-green!) coloured background and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly used- and I deem carefully tunic-removed-, condition. The piece is neatly machine-embroidered in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-pattern on a field-grey-coloured (and/or linnen-based) background and is showing the famous 'Edelweiss' flower. The piece - that was fine-trimmed- ie. confectioned - shows some minimal age and/or staining simply caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear: moreover, does it show some minimal glue-remains on its back, simply caused by having been glued into an album- or scrapbook once. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a genuine, early- ie. 'first-pattern'- so-called 'Gebirgsjäger' (mountain-troopers) arm-badge for an interesting price!
