1914/15 star trio, named to:D.A.5735 J.HARVEY.D.H.R.N.R.Medals extremely fine, on original full-length original ribbons.John Harvey was born in 1877 at Lowestoft.He served on H.M.Drifter 'Nelly' (Halcyon) out of Lowestoft, then parent base Vivid 26/04/1915-21/12/1916 Admirable 01/01/1917-31/12/1917Queen 01/01/1918-21/01/1919.He seems to have spent all of his service on 'Nelly'Admirable was the base in the Adriatic, so Nelly would have seen service as a net drifter in the Adriatic.Demobilised from Pembroke on 12th March 1919.Nelly(sometimes mis-described as 'Nellie' was a hired drifter, Admiralty no 1473,built 1903,registered in North Shields .Armament was a 1.3 pounder.
