A scarce original early period 'British Red Cross Society County of East Riding of Yorkshire gilt and enamel badge' with box of issue inscribed 'No 41293 A CLARKE' and also to the badge. Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.Height approx 48mm.The British Red Cross Society County / Branch badge was Instituted in 1911 and Discontinued in 1956.
