Kriegsmarine officer visor for high ranking officers 'Stabsoffiziere'

Genuine WW2 German navy officer cap for high ranking officers (Stabsoffiziere). This can be seen on the embroidered gold oak leafs on the front of the cap. A nice gold colored bullion cocarde is period sewn on the front of the cap, above a genuine gold cap eagle sits firmly in place. Void of maker markings, but shows a name 'Elnert'. The sweat band is loose on the front. The cap has a removable top, to change it into white. The chin strap is complete but shows a small damage on the edge, where the tip is missing. We used a hat spanner for the picutres, as the shape is somewhat deformed. I would recommend using a hat spanner to place it in a collection, like this the original shape will return. A beautiful well worn Kriegsmarine visor with the patina we are all looking for!
