French Franco-Prussian War Era M1866 Chassepot Bayonet St Etienne 1867, German Re-Issue

Original period manufacture. Very clean Franco Prussian War era Chassepot bayonet, mismatched serial numbers blade to scabbard. The blade is very clean in factory polish with very minor scattered spotting and staining from age, with clear markings on the spine.The scabbard has a bright steel finish, with a German style frog stud instead of a standing steel loop. The guard displays German Landwehr Battalion issue markings.Nice and clean.
