WH (LW-/Heeres- ie. 'Deutsches Afrikakorps'-) related, metal-based (ie. silver-coloured- and/or I deem genuine silver-based) so-called: 'souvenir'-ring depicting an engraved palmtree and desert scenery and showing the text: 'Tunis'

Description

The neat (and with certainty male-type- and/or: medium-sized-) finger-ring is I deem executed in genuine silver-based metal and retains great pronounced detail. As more often does it show a clear (but regrettably unreadable) makers'-designation or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The ring is clearly worn ie. used (it is still a bit tarnished and was with certainty never cleaned nor polished). The detail on the engraved (ie. palm-tree and/or text (ie. engraved initials on both sides) is, however, nicely preserved and void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece originates with certainty of a local African-production (something that explains the not so detailed- ie. crudely executed appearance). These 'souvenir'-rings could be privately purchased from local artisans and were very popular amongst the troops. Simply a neat and 100% genuine example that originates from a German private household where it was recently uncovered. I deem that I have priced this DAK-'souvenir'-ring accordingly!
