A rare original First World War period full size 'Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service male nurse bronze medal' similar design to the silver medal worn by female nurses, but awarded and worn by qualified male nurses, who usually held the rank of Sergeant, very good condition, complete with original ribbon, together with his General Nursing Council State Registered Nurse 1923 hallmarked silver lapel badge, awarded to 'G.R RICHARDS SRN 198, 16/5/24' Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel.Diameter approx 27mm.
