What a wonderful dagger this is. Not only does it have the condition, it also has its original leather frog with complete cross strap! Best of all it has the original TENO OR's portapee. This one is mainly blue with twin black lines, which means it's for the 'Technischer-Dienst' or Technical service. An original TENO PORTEPEE Is a very rare thing on its own. The overall condition of the dagger is quite phenomenal. All of the original dull nickel plating is present (apart from one tiny area on the reverse oft he crossguard where it rubs against the frog). Everywhere else it is stone mint!Perfect cream celluloid grip plates. Scabbard fittings are also mint and it has all the original gloss black scabbard paint. The large 'bowie' type blade is also in mint condition with the TENO eagle and Eickhorn squirrel etched into the reverse riccasso. All TENO daggers are numbered.
