WWII women's M43 trousers outer cover.MEASUREMENTS (approximate):Waist- 28'- 29 1/2'Hips- 42'Inseam- 26 1/2'Total Length- 40 1/4' (not including the stirrups)They are wind-resistant and water-repellent and could be worn over the wool trouser liners. It has buttons in the back waist to adjust the size a bit. This is not meant to be a tight fitting garment. It has a pocket and buttons up the side (missing one button). Named to Virginia E. Irwin (no, not the same as the war correspondent, that's Virginia A. Irwin).In OK condition. There are some paint splotches, staining and a few small holes. The stirrups are worn and fraying.
