Beretta 38A, Stud /Sling Loop Assembly

BandNOTincluded.All parts are newly manufactured, with details comparable to originals.It will replace originals perfectly, although it has been ever so slightly modified to make it a touch more robust and more sensible to manufacture. The sling loop is now held in place by an extension from the cross bolt rather than a small press fit permanent pin. There is also just a little more meat on the bone to make it more rigid and slightly more resistant to deformation from use and abuse.The design of this new assembly was taken from the Carcano m38 rifle, which is simpler, and more sensible. So you still get period Italian design details.Loop is made from O-1 tool steel, formed to shape, and installed into center stud.Center screw is made from O-1 tool steel and installed into center stud to keep the loop in place.Center stud is made from 1144 high carbon steel. The design of this part closely resembles the sling loop assembly that goes on the carcano m38 rifle.Nut is made from 1144 high carbon steel as well, made slightly thicker to allow more threads to engage.
