Outstanding Waffen-SS Officer's Visor Cap, Kleiderkasse

This excellent cap is a mid-war gabardine example, with white piping and earlier style cream and tan colored imitation silk lining materials. The sweatband is the matching leatherette. The folds and overall craftsmanship of the lining show the precise techniques expected in the makeup of this type of cap. The cap band is the correct period velvet and shows the same fine craftsmanship as the interior. The piping and gabardine are perfectly period quality and the overall cap shows a light age toning.
