Worthing Camera Club 1913 Awarded to Halksworth Wheeler 1878-1937

A rare original early 20th century period 'Worthing Camera Club 1913 bronze prize medal' the obverse depictictig an embossed allegorical figure of a female artist with her hand resting on a Bellows Camera amidst a rising sun scenic view; the lower part with maker's details 'VAUGHTON BIRM'. Very good condition, contained in half of a presentation case.Diameter approx 44mm.By 1927 H. D. Halksworth Wheeler, FRPS, had become the President of the Professional Photographers Association.
