Description

A fine scarce proper thin die stamped brass example worn circa 1878-1905. A fused grenade with nine points to the flames. On the ball a laurel wreath with top scroll inscribed 'GIBRALTAR'. Within the wreath a strap inscribed 'PER MARE PER TERRAM' with central globe and fouled anchor below. Two loops (one replaced) to the reverse. GC. KK1106
