KBY50 Interesting custom made field map board

Interesting custom made field map board, carefully constructed of two pieces of solid wood measuring 35x25cm each and being connected with a maker marked steel hinge riveted through steel plates at the corners, the outer hinge is covered in leather, the wood pieces have a lacquered finish and the face has a leather holder with snap cover for holding pencils and such, these brown leather sections are screwed into place through their metal borders, internally there are four swiveling steel clips to secure maps or other papers, the left hand side has a plexiglas shield which is fastened into place with plexiglas corners, the board is held closed with a black leather slide strap with aluminum pointed tip, exhibits service use but complete and ready for use, USD $400
