Service used Imperial Japanese Army helmet cover, considered as an example made in the Manchurian theatre, constructed of six panels of olive colored cotton, having a border tape of enclosing a drawstring with knotted ends, each upper side has two sewn ventilation holes, a yellow felt star machine sewn to an olive wool circle is machine sewn to the front of the cover, the upper right side of the cover is stamped in black ink with the numerals 4302, a maker's stamp is applied to the inner rear lower edge, show use and wear with some nothing to the insignia, there are a few rust spots and soiling but no holes or repairs, note that the cover was photographed on a larger helmet shell, USD $1670 NEW PRICE
