Italian, WWII Fascist Fighting Knife, Carved Handle,

Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Italian WWII fighting knife, most often seen with a steel scabbard with an embossed Fasces emblem on its obverse.This one is missing its scabbard, bright finished blade, with scattered patches of light surface corrosion. The wooden grip has finger grooves in order for the knife to fit the hand better, and expertly carved into one side of the grip is a slogan, 'Wil Duce xx Wil Re'. It appears that several letters in the middle of the slogan are missing, preventing a proper translation, at least my me.
