Attractive and well-kept SS officer's sword, early model with original felt storage tag having U.S. veteran's name, bag with separations to the fabric, sword itself is exceptionally clean, the unmarked blade measures 84cm in length and is coated with light oil, the blade is unsharpened and is free of rust and corrosion, blade is fitted with a white leather washer, pommel nut and handle are nickel silver, handle and upper edge of the scabbard throat are marked with the intertwined runic logo of the Gahr firm, the black grip retains almost all of its finish, the black lacquered scabbard has practically all of its original paint, there is a small dent on the lower reverse of the scabbard, the lower scabbard fitting is undented, beautiful and a top example of the iconic SS-Führerdegen, USD $5440 NO LONGER AVAILABLE
