Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet, Leather Frog, Matsushita Kinzoku

Original era manufacture. Blue finished blade without fullers, straight guard, contoured wood grips with a flat bird-head pommel. The blade is clean, with most of its original finish remaining intact. Dark, original finish wood grips, with some marring to the surface, blue finished guard and pommel with a light amount of surface corrosion showing. Near dent free blue steel scabbard with most of the finish remaining. Interesting brown leather frog which appears to have been made from spareleather.There are English language lettering and names on the reverse of the frog. Waste not-Want not, seems to be a theme here.
