Slightly mismatched pair of Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger kneepads, internal rubber pads are covered with a thick greenish cotton twill material, one kneepad has greenish elasticized strap whereas the other kneepad's strap is of a lighter color, each adjustable strap includes its buckle and each pad has two black metal studs held by a brown leather panel and these are used to secure the buckles, each kneepad is marked on the reverse in blue ink with RBNr, the example with green straps marked more faintly than the other, both kneepads show light age and soiling and the example with the lighter straps has four wartime darned repairs, elastic is strong throughout, since they are not a perfect match, USD $800 SOLD
