Set of items relating to the SS Volunteer Sturmbrigade Wallonien, the Tcherkassy battle and Leon Degrelle, there are four pieces - sleeveband, Rexist badge, Signal magazine and map of the Tcherkassy region, first is the rarely encountered woven sleeveband for the 28. SS-Freiwilligen- Grenadier-Division Wallonien, being 41cm in length and having unfinished ends, in mint unissued condition; second is the Belgian Walloom Rexist Honor Badge with original box, the badge is silver and has the Walloon Burgundy Cross with a vertically positioned sword pointing upwards, the upper perimeter has the legend 'Bravoure, Honneur, Fidelite',the reverse has a hollowed out appearance and a simple hinged pin with a C hook, badge shows wear and age tarnishing, it is enclosed in a two piece, circular box measuring 6cm in diameter, the manufacture's data is printed on the lid; third is a French language issue of Signal magazine, number 5 from 1944, it is complete, has color pages and features RKT Degrelle on the cover is SS uniform; finally is the paper OKH Deutsche Heereskarte for Tcherkassy, it has been rolled and measures 65x50cm, fantastic set of items relating to the titanic struggle in the east, USD $6950 NO LONGER AVAILABLE
