Wartime photo album for a member of Heer Aufklärungs-Abteilung 1, simulated crocodile cover measures 30x22cm and has Heer national emblem and until legend embossed in sliver, the covers and pages are held with a knotted cord, the album has ten double sided illustrated pages with black and white photos providing historical context including an account of German Kavallerie units, the following ten black pages have contain photos of the former owner, comrades, the unit in training, fatigue, maneuver and bivouac, other photos destroyed French equipment, Paris under occupation, scenes from the Russian front, soldier graves, hospital scenes and such, there is one loose portrait photo 6x4cm having stamp of Oslo atelier depicting NCO with young female subject, all in nice condition, USD $60 SOLD
