Interesting grouping from Günther Kerger, a member of Rgt. 5 'Sturmregiment' Koch, group includes Kerger's Ausweis, a photo of Kerger in a green step in smock at an anti aircraft MG34 in Tunisia, identifing him as a part of 'Sturmregiment' Koch on the reverse, half of Kerger's ID disc (the other half was taken when he was taken prisoner), one of Kerger's tropical shoulder straps, and Kerger's POW handmade Fallschirmjäger qualification badge, the Ausweis and photo are a bit yellowed with age, the Ausweis has been hole punched, the shoulder strap is in fine shape and includes the tongue, the POW handmade Fallschirmjäger qualification badge is a heavy cast item and has traces of gilt finish to the eagle, nice little group from the North African campaign, Kerger survived the war as POW, for more information see page 277 of German Paratroops in North Africa - Tropical Uniforms, Headgear, and Insignia of the Fallschirmjäger in World War II by John E.
