RH67 Top shelf Heer M40 single decal tan camouflaged helmet

Top shelf Heer M40 single decal tan camouflaged helmet, the factory rough textured schiefergrau paint was over sprayed (from the top) to include the Heer decal in an even coat of light tan colored camouflage paint, the split pins still have most of their paint, there are few scattered chips and scrapes to the upper dome and wear to the lower rim, overall pain coverage is approximately 95% and the helmet show little over signs of wear externally, shell is stamped SE64, lot number 4419, having steel liner bands and intact pins with washers, the liner systems has not been disturbed and these is significant dust build up, cobwebs, etc. between the bands and the shell, the tan colored leather liner is in very nice condition and still has its originally tie string, the liner is stamped size 57 and has the former owner's name penned at the right temple, the full length leather chinstrap is original to the helmet and its tip received overspray from when the helmet was camouflaged, it is a bit dry and has some cracking to the surface but is not torn or separated, its maker code is gxy 41, splendid example, USD $7500 SOLD
