RH63 Excellent Luftwaffe M35 double decal helmet with first pattern eagle

Excellent Luftwaffe M35 double decal helmet with first pattern eagle, shell with smooth blue grey factory painted finish, the first pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal would rate 90% or better, the national colors decal has since cracking and a small chip to one edge, the painted finish has a few scratches and small chips, the lower rim edges are exhibit paint wear, liner pins have most of their paint, shell is faintly stamped ET66, lot number is 3035, the former owner's name is applied to the rear inner skirt using black paint, the unreinforced liner band is dated 1937, pins show little play and all washers are present, there is significant dust buildup between the liner bands and shell, the clear dome stamp has the 1936 date, the unmarked brown leather liner is complete and without damage, the drawstring remains, having a full length brown leather chinstrap, no maker marks are noted, really nice, USD $6000 SOLD
